In 2016, our founder was fishing at a local creek. He had just bought a new pack of bait from a well known tackle company and became irritated with the product. He had caught several fish with the bait, but it tore and became unusable after one dink fish. He started thinking of how he could make the product better, without breaking the bank every time someone purchased it.

Flash forward to now, Southern Tackle Company has come a long way since then. We make more bait, sell more bait, and offer more than before, but we still have the same philosophy of making a good bait without breaking the bank of our anglers.
